How do I renew books and multimedia?
Answer
To renew Library materials:
1) Click "Login to My Account" on the Discover tab from the Library Homepage.
2) Click Sign In in the top-right corner of the next page, then enter your NetID and password.
3) Next, click your name in the top-right corner and select My Loans from the menu.
4) From here, you can see all the items on your Library account. You can click the Renew button next to one specific item, or Renew All at the top of your list to renew everything.
Note: Interlibrary Loan items must be renewed through your Interlibrary Loan account page.
Having trouble?
There are four reasons that the system may not allow an online renewal:
- The item's due date is today, or it is past its due date.
- You have reached your maximum number of renewals.
- Another Library user has requested the item on your account.
For everything above, the item will have to be brought to the Library and removed from you account before being checked out again or made available for the next person.
- It is late in the semester, and renewing will change your due date to the following semester.
Solution: try renewing again within 5 days of the end of the semester.
