Can I scan my documents or materials in the Library?

Answer

Yes, there are three types of scanners in McDermott Library's Print/Copy/Scan Center. Basic instructions for each of the following options are available near the devices, and staff is nearby to assist you.

Document scanning
Use the glass surface or the auto feed tray on the printers. You may save to a flash drive or email scanned files.

Book scanning
The KIC scanner can be more efficient for book scanning. This device scans from overhead and offers more image control. Please be aware of the posted copyright warning and limit scans to one chapter.

Microfilm / Microfiche scanning
Two ScanPro 3000 scanners are available near the windows in the copy center for enlarged view and scanning / printing of microforms.
