Q. Can I scan my documents or materials in the library?

There are three scanning solutions available to you in the library's copy center, all of which are FREE. Basic instructions for each of the following options are available near the devices, and staff is nearby to assist you.

  • Document scanning: Use the glass surface or the auto feed tray on the printers. You may save to a flash drive or email scanned files.
  • Book scanning: Use the printers, or the more efficient KIC scanner located at the entrance to the copy center. This device will provide image control, and facilitate saving to flash drive or emailing. Please be aware of the posted copyright warning and limit scans to one chapter.
  • Microfilm / Microfiche scanning: Two ScanPro 3000 scanners are available near the windows in the copy center for enlarged view and scanning / printing of microforms.
