Why does the printer say "insufficient funds" when I swipe my Comet Card?

If you receive an "insufficient funds" error when you swipe your Comet Card on a printer:
- Check your Comet Cash balance using UTD's GET Portal (mobile app available). Add funds using your credit / debit card. A minimum of $5.00 is required.
- A few schools - like the School of Management, and Engineering & Computer Science - add print funds to their students' Comet Cards, however those funds only work in the labs associated with that school.
