Q. Why does the printer say "insufficient funds" when I swipe my Comet Card?

Answer

  • Check your balance or add cash at the Add Value machine located in the library's Copy Center, or add funds with debit/credit through the GET Portal.

If the balance is still $0.00 after adding funds, visit the Comet Card Office in the Student Service Addition building and they will refund the lost amount or replace your card. 

  • A few schools - like the School of Management, and Engineering & Computer Science - add print funds to their students' Comet Cards, however those funds only work in the labs associated with that school.
