What is TexShare?

Answer

In short, the TexShare Program is a combined effort of more than 500 statewide public and academic libraries, granting their users access to all participating institutions with the use of a single library card.

UTD faculty, staff, and currently enrolled students

Apply for a TexShare card online to increase your borrowing power! A librarian can help you determine which local libraries have that book you're searching for.

Guests of UTD Libraries, not affiliated with the University

Register for and receive a TexShare card from your public or school library, then complete the online application form so that we may activate your account with UTD Libraries. You will receive an email confirmation once this is processed. See Checkout Policies for Visitors for more information about borrowing privileges as a visiting TexShare member.
