What is the Citation Linker?

Answer

The Citation Linker - located at the top of your screen when using the Library Catalog - can help you find a book, journal or article using details found in a citation.

Screen shot of top menu starting with "New Search" and with "Citation Linker" option highlighted.

To use the Citation Linker, select the material type (Article, Book, or Journal) then enter as much detail as you like and click Submit.

The search fields available when Citation Linker is opened.

If the Library owns it, the item record will be presented now.

If the Library does not own the item, sign in with your NetID and the system will automatically populate an Interlibrary Loan request. Simply check the details and click Submit.
