Why won't my prints send?

When you swipe your Comet Card at a printer, it should show a list of the files you have sent for printing after briefly displaying your account balance. Check the following common causes if your print queue is missing a sent document:

  • Confirm that the previous user is logged off the computer before use. Documents sent to the print queue are paired to the NetID of the student that is signed in to the computer. When in doubt, restart the PC.
  • Verify that Lib Black and White or Lib Color is the destination printer.
  • Ensure the Comet Card used at the printer matches the student that is logged in to the printing computer.
