Where can I talk on my phone in the Library?

Brief, quiet phone calls are permitted in the main lobby on the 2nd floor of the Library or downstairs in the basement (1st floor). If you are being disruptive with your call, you will be asked to take take it outside the library building.
McDermott Library prohibits phone calls on the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th floors. We ask that you set your phone to silent mode when seated in this space, and place incoming callers on hold as you excuse yourself to the lobby or lowest level to resume your call.
