Why doesn't the Library have my textbook?

Answer

While many textbooks used in UT Dallas courses may be found at McDermott Library, it is unfortunately impossible for the Library to maintain a current collection of all textbooks used at UT Dallas while continuing to provide access to its many databases, journals, equipment, etc. The quantity of titles used each semester, constant changes and revisions, and of course cost per title make the provision of textbooks rather challenging.

Many of the ebooks and print titles that the library purchases to develop the collections end up being used in UT Dallas courses, however, so it's worth searching the Library Catalog for your course readings!
