Where can I find the Oxford English Dictionary?

There are two methods to find the Oxford English Dictionary on the Eugene McDermott Library homepage:

 

Method 1

Search "Oxford English Dictionary Online" from the Discover tab and click the title of your matching result. Look for the "View Online" area for a link to the electronic version.

 

Method 2

Navigate to the Databases tab and select Dictionaries / Encyclopedias / Reference from the subject chooser menu to find The Oxford English Dictionary, Oxford Reference Online, and several other valuable online reference tools.

McDermott Library also owns print copies of a variety of Oxford Dictionaries. They are located in the Reference Stacks on the 2nd floor, with older versions moved to the Main Stacks on floor 4.
