How do I renew books and media (DVDs, Blu-rays, and CDs)?
Answer
To renew Library materials:
1) Click "Account Login" in the upper right corner of the Library Homepage.
2) Sign in with you your NetID and password when prompted.
3) Click your name in the upper right corner for a drop-down menu. Select "My Loans" from the list.
4) From here, you can see all the items on your library account. You can click the Renew button next to one specific item, or Renew All at the top of your list to renew everything.
Note: Interlibrary Loan items must be renewed through your Interlibrary Loan account page.
Having trouble?
There are four reasons that the system may not allow an online renewal:
- The item's due date is today, or it is past its due date.
- You have reached your maximum number of renewals.
- Another Library user has requested the item on your account.
For everything above, the item will have to be brought to the Library and removed from you account before being checked out again or made available for the next person.
- It is not close enough to the next semester, and renewing will not give you additional borrowing time (no due date for the next semester).
Solution: Try renewing again within 5 days or less of the end of the semester.
