Can I hold a book from Course Reserves for a specified time?
Answer
Books in the Course Reserves collection with an in-Library only policy can be held for you on a date and time of your choosing.
IMPORTANT NOTE: You must log into the Library Catalog before you attempt to request a hold on an item. Use the link at the top right corner of the main library webpage called "Account Login" and log in with your NETID credentials before beginning.
"Book it" online!
1) Use the title, author or course code to locate your textbook in the Library Catalog.
2) If found*, Click the title of the book to display the detailed record.
3) Find the yellow bar prompting you to sign in and enter your NetID and password.
4) Click the blue Request button.
5) Select "Booking" then enter the date and time that you plan to use this book in the Library. If there is an error, limit your time to 2 hours or less.
6) Click "Send Request."
7) Visit the Services Desk on the 2nd floor at your scheduled time. Present your Comet Card and inform the staff that you have reserved a book.
