I can't connect to Library databases.
Answer
Here are the most common solutions for issues connecting to Library resources:
- When using a WiFi connection, UTD students, staff and faculty should ensure that you have selected CometNet as your network. Some systems automatically connect to UTDGuest which can restrict access.
- Off campus users should temporarily disable their VPN if applicable (unless it's UTD's GlobalProtect). VPNs bypass the Library's e-proxy service, rejecting your access to subscribed e-resources.
- Try a different web browser. If it works there, this is a clue that you should clear your temporary internet files and cache in your preferred browser.
