Are dissertations available to UT Dallas guests?

Answer

Dissertations online:

By requesting access to the Community User computers at McDermott Library's 2nd floor Services Desk, visitors and alumni can gain access to ProQuest's Dissertations and Theses Global, an electronic database containing works from over 1,000 universities dating back to 1861.

Dissertations published since 1997, along with select historical works, are available in full-text and may be purchased directly through the database for $30 to $45.

Dissertations in print:

McDermott Library also has a selection of dissertations in print, searchable in Discover and available by request at the Service Desk on the 2nd floor. This is a non-circulating collection, and copies are prohibited without author permission.
