What is Naxos Spoken Word Library?

McDermott Library subscribes to three performing arts databases from Naxos Digital Services:

Naxos Spoken Word Library (NSWL) contains a wide range of storytelling and literature read aloud, including multiple languages. Enrolled UT Dallas students and active faculty and staff can browse by genre, author or reader.


How to Access NSWL (desktop version)

1) Begin at McDermott Library's homepage.

2) Locate the search area in the middle of the page with green tabs on top. Click the Databases tab.

3) Click the letter 'N' then scroll to click Naxos Spoken Word Library.

How to Access NSWL (phone or tablet)

1) You will need an authorization password. Contact us at libref@utdallas.edu or online chat to receive the code.

2) Download Naxos Spoken Word Library for your Apple device here, or for your Android device here.

3) On the log in screen, click "Connect with your institution."

4) Enter the authorization password, then enter your name, email and password and submit. Use your UT Dallas email in netid@utdallas.edu format.

5) Check your UT Dallas email to complete the activation.
