How do I get access to Checkpoint Edge?

Checkpoint Edge is useful for researching tax law and policy.  It is available for active UTD students and faculty. Users must register for a personal log in to get access.  Please note that new users need to be on a campus network (CometNet) or a UTD computer to create the account.  Thereafter, you should be able to use the account from anywhere.

Checkpoint Edge contains comprehensive federal, state, and international tax resources, including information on pensions, estate planning, corporate finance, tax rulings, and more. New users need to register for an account from an ON CAMPUS connection. Already registered users can open Checkpoint to log in from anywhere

IMPORTANT NOTE:  Users must use an @utdallas.edu email address. Registrations are for the current semester only and will need to be re-registered after each semester expires.
