While the McDermott Library does not have direct access to the Hoovers database by Dun & Bradstreet, we do have access to selected Hoovers resources through the Nexis Uni database.

From the library’s website https://library.utdallas.edu/ click on Databases and in the next screen click on the letter N and scroll down to Nexis Uni in the list.

Once you are in the Nexis Uni database, click on “Find a Source” on the right side of the screen: 

Next, begin typing the source name ("hoovers") into the search box on the left. The search box will begin to auto-fill a list of available Hoovers resources:

Select the Hoovers you wish to search from the dropdown options. Alternatively, submit your search for "hoovers" and select a resource from a list of results on the right side of the screen.

For alternatives, the library subscribes to multiple databases ideal for researching company and industry information. From the library homepage, go to the Databases tile. In the Subjects dropdown menu at the top of the page, select "Business & Management - All" and click "Search" to apply the filter:
