How do I reserve a "Smart Room"
The Eugene McDermott Library has 8 smart rooms available for students to reserve.

Reserving a Smart Room 1. Go to the Library homepage and find the link to “Reserve a Room” on the front-page tiles.
2. Scroll down to “Reserve Your Study Room.”
3. Select “Smart Rooms” to view availability. Select the blocks of time you would like to reserve a room. The orange blocks are the times available to make a booking. The gray blocks are unavailable times.
4. Select from the drop-down menu that appears below the orange and gray block to submit times you would like to make a booking.
5. Read and agree to the terms and conditions of the Smart Rooms: Terms & Conditions.
6. Fill out the form with your full name and UTD email address and select “Submit my Booking.”
7. A confirmation email will be sent to your UTD email, including information about the room and booking time.
8. Up to 15 minutes before your booking time, check out the study room keys. You must provide your physical Comet Card and be the same patron who booked the room to receive the keys. Study room marker kits and technology accessories are also available to check out at the circulation services desk. After 15 minutes, the room becomes available to other individuals/groups.
9. When you are done using the room, return the keys and accessories before the end of your reservation. All study room keys and marker kits are due back at the end of your reservation.
