Are library resources available to UTD guests / alumni?

Answer

Yes, there are a number of ways to access library resources as an unaffiliated guest of UT Dallas or as a UTD Alumnus. Alumni and community users can borrow books using a Texshare card (see link to Texshare information below) or by requesting our materials through their public library's Interlibrary Loan service. Information about accessing databases and electronic book and journal subscriptions can be found in the link about Community User privileges.

Please visit the Visitor Information page for extensive information regarding hours, materials and computer usage policies, and parking.

Note: Guests are welcome to visit in person to use library materials during operating hours. General computing and printing are not available, though you may access complimentary WiFi on your mobile device using the "UTDGuest" network.
